Course Description Recommended Prior Learning A minimum of 10 credits from level 2 physics. Ideally Waves, Mechanics, Electromagnetism and Nuclear Physics should have been studied previously
The Level Three Physics Course is for students who are interested in science and wish to widen their understanding of the principles relevant in the physical world and further develop their problem solving skills. Goals: 1. Promote a view of physics as a human activity, including its applications, technological developments and relevance to the lives of people. 2. Develop student’s knowledge and understanding of physical phenomena. 3. Develop student’s skills of investigation and enquiry. Topics that will be covered are: Electrical Systems, Mechanics, Waves and Modern Physics
