Level 3 Calculus and/or Statistics

Course Description

This subject is useful and in some areas essential, for many tertiary studies, including medicine, science and engineering. The course covers algebra, complex arithmetic, binomials, coordinate geometry, trigonometry and a range of calculus ideas involving differentiation, integration, and differential equations. Standards from the Statistics range of offerings may be included at the discretion of the teacher and need of the student.

Recommended Prior Learning

NCEA Level 2 Mathematics and Statistics.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

Students need a Casio fx9750G11 model (approximately $95). A write on workbook is required at an approximate cost of $25.
